Competition brief to 'Design a Ceremonial Table, Lectern and Side Table for the LSE Faith Centre. Home to LSE's diverse religious activities, acclaimed interfaith programme, and a reflective space for all staff and students.' The objects were to be displayed permanently in front of the stained glass artwork designed by the President of the Royal Academy, Christopher Le Brun. This was a key consideration in our designs, as we chose to use burnished brass in order to further appreciate and use the rich, colourful light that was produced by the Desert Window artwork behind the pieces. The project was arranged in partnership with The Furniture Makers' Company.

Our team including Benjamin Ashton and Houda Kaddouh came second place runners up and our designs were commended on their originality and striking nature.
